Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards

Mark Van Gestel from Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards in McLaren Vale and Matt have been best mates since working at the Paddo Tavern wine cellar together 2001-2003.
When Matt, who originally hailed from McLaren Vale as a kid, decided to become a wine rep, Mark moved to South Australia and started championing McLaren Vale, eventually landing a gig at Oliver’s Taranga.
Whilst heading up the cellar door team at Oliver’s Taranga, Mark and his team won the inaugural “Wine Communicator of the Year” award in 2021.
Mark and Matt will take you on a wine journey, showing you why this region holds such a special place in their hearts..

The Best Rosé in the World

Rosé is kinda our thing you might say.. and with the largest Rosé wine list in Australia, we mean business!
Without a doubt, the French make the best Rosé the world has to offer and Matt is going to show you, not just some of the best Rosé in the world…. but in his opinion, the 7 best Rosé produced today!!
7 Rosé paired with French Fromage & Charcuterie in the cosy confines of our cellar bar, La Cave.
These wines are extremely limited and this event is a rarity, once or twice a year, so get in quick.
Eurotrip Vin Blanc
Sunday 19th October 1pm - $80
European white wines are often overshadowed by their red wine counterparts, but there are some incredible whites produced throughout Europe.
German & Alsacian Riesling, Burgundy Chardonnay, Sicilian skin contact, Campania Fiano, Rias Baixas Albariño, Loire Valley Chenin Blanc.. the list goes on.. The hardest part will be what varieties/regions Matt will choose.
In the end he will whittle it down to just 7 of his favourite European whites, all paired with Fromage & Charcuterie from those same regions.
If you love your white wine, then you won’t want to miss this!
Duke’s Vineyard Event

Duke’s Vineyard is an award-winning, ten-hectare vineyard in the cool-climate Great Southern wine region of Western Australia producing some beautiful dry Rieslings, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
Their Magpie Hill Riesling won James Halliday’s prestigious “Wine of the Year” award in 2019. 🥇🥇🥇
Come and join Winemaker, Ben Cane, and taste through some of his stunning wines from across the other side of Australia.
